Charlotte Hatherley working on the second album...

music-room

Former Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley is working a new album.

The singer/guitarist explained she has written 17 songs from the follow up to her 2004 solo debut 'Grey Will Fade'. The album is being produced by Blur and Elbow producer Ben Hillier. She has also been working with PJ Harvey cohort Rob Ellis.

In a statement on Charlottehatherley.com she explained:

"I'm currently in Italy recording the follow up to 'Grey Will Fade'. 12 songs have been thrown down so far, five more to go.

"The songs are most comparable to 'Where I'm Calling From' from 'G.W.F', with a little bit of the Paragons thrown in for good measure. Eric Feldman says it's 'the sound of Flirtinis on the beach', whereas Rob Ellis thinks it sounds like 'fireflies copulating in a bush'.

Torpark Browser, portable browser from Hacker...

multimedia-room

An international group of computer security experts and human rights workers has released an anonymous, fully portable web browser based on Mozilla Firefox.

The Torpark browser comes pre-configured and requires no installation. It runs off a USB memory stick, and claims to leave no tracks behind on the browser or computer.

Hacktivismo, the organisation behind the project, said that Torpark is a highly modified variant of Portable Firefox that uses The Onion Router (Tor) network to create an anonymous connection between the user and the websites being visited.

Typically, when a user logs onto the internet, a unique IP address is assigned to manage the computer's identity. Each website the user visits can see and log the user's IP address.

The First Free Internet Browser That Protects Your Privacy

multimedia-room

Internet surfers worldwide can this week seize back their privacy with the launch of a new 'anti-big brother' internet browser -- 'Browzar'.

Created by Ajaz Ahmed, founder of the UK's largest Internet Service Provider (ISP) Freeserve, Browzar does not store any information about where we have been online, meaning that for the first time we can surf the internet simply and freely without fear of it giving away our secrets.

These days we turn to the internet for information and advice on all aspects of our lives, divulging some of our deepest personal secrets through the websites we view and the subjects we search for. What many of us are unaware of is that our computer records and stores this 'virtual diary' of our personal lives and that it is easily accessible to anyone we share our computer with. Read More....

Sum 41 is a Canadian band from Ajax, Ontario. The band was formed from members of several local high school bands, 41 days into the summer of 1996. The band consists of Deryck Whibley (a.k.a. Bizzy D) (lead vocals, guitar, keyboard/piano), Jason McCaslin (a.k.a. Cone) (bass and backing vocals), and Steve Jocz (a.k.a. Stevo32) (drums and backing vocals). Making Money with Blogging

multimedia-room

The digital pioneer, as he is often called, Clement Mok had it correct when, a few years ago, he said, "Five years ago, we though of the Web as a new medium, not a new economy"
We live in a world where not only the Internet, but blogging can make increase your profit line. In the 90's, in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, a young man by the name of Justin Hall became one of the pioneers of what is now known as blogging. He began an Internet journal, and quite honestly, this is how Blogging was born.
The technical description of blogging is "Weblog" according to most dictionaries and anal people. Usually the blog can be anything from commentaries to diaries, and can contain links, photos and more. Read more...

Mew, listen the comforting sound...

music-room

The band members, Jonas Bjerre, Bo Madsen, Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen and the former member Johan Wohlert, who all originate from the posh neighborhood Hellerup north of Copenhagen, now reside in London, England. Whilst their music is often classified as Indie, they sometimes humorously refer to it themselves as "pretentious art rock".
That's what the opening story about one of my favourite band, Mew...
One years ago, i heard the song, and then i fall in love with it..
Mew has been released the new album "and the glass handed kites", with the singles ; special, the zookeepers boy, etc.. Read more...

Plus Fourty Four (+44)

music-room

Goodbye blink 182,
and then welcome Angels and
Airwaves...
not only Angels and Airwaves..
Now we also had +44..

(+44) (pronounced "plus forty four") are an alternative rock band from blink-182 members Mark Hoppus (bass and vocals) and Travis Barker (drums and keyboards). The band also has former Transplants touring guitarist Craig Fairbaugh and the lead guitarist of The Nervous Return; Shane Gallagher. "The sound of (+44) is still developing right now. Right now to me it sounds like punk rock meets 80s synth rock, meets...all different kind of influences are in there. There are songs where its like a hip hop beat with electric guitar over it or like a really trance-y beat with keyboards on top of that, and some are just straight forward rock songs". That was Hoppus claimed about (+44).

I will give u the lyrics of the 1st single, and u can also download the song too. So if u want to get it, please click here to read more.

Angels & Airwaves (AVA)

music-room

Goodbye blink 182, and then welcome Angels and Airwaves...
Yeah, that's what i can say for seeing what happen with blink 182..

Angels and Airwaves is a solo project created by blink-182 guitarist, Tom DeLonge. His friend and former Box Car Racer member David Kennedy, Offspring drummer Atom Willard and Distillers former bass-player Ryan Sinn are also members of Angels and Airwaves. According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office DeLonge trademarked "Angels and Airwaves" on June 24, 2005 amidst the lingering confusion of blink-182's abruptly announced hiatus. Although no specific release date for an album has been set, DeLonge claims that his new project will be "the best music made in decades" as well as being "much more powerful, emotional and melodic than Box Car and blink put together".

This is the full of story of the band, collected from a lot of resources in internet that i found.. I hope u will like it... Click here to read more...
